Holiday language courses for pupils in Years 5 to 13 in Bonn and the surrounding area
During the holidays, we offer intensive language courses for pupils in Years 5 to 13 at grammar schools, secondary modern schools and comprehensive schools. The holiday courses are ideal for revising and consolidating the curriculum content for the respective year group, or for specifically improving written and oral marks.
Our courses are based on the core curricula and can be booked on a weekly basis at both locations. For pupils with learning difficulties or who are at risk of failing to progress to the next year group, we recommend one-to-one tuition to create a personalised learning plan and specifically address any learning gaps. Regular feedback and the review of exam papers are also part of our programme.
English for Year 1 (FK)
This intensive course is aimed at Year 1 primary school pupils who wish to learn English. Through language games, singing, storytelling and role-play, the children are encouraged to express themselves in the foreign language.
From Year 2 onwards, children are gently introduced to reading and writing in English.

Intensive English course to ensure you’re fully prepared for secondary school.
The ‘English for Year 4’ course is a programme specifically tailored to the learning styles of Year 4 pupils and gently but systematically prepares the children for the subject content and study techniques required for Year 5 in the trial phase of grammar schools in North Rhine-Westphalia.
English course for Year 5 (FK)
The aim of the intensive course for Year 5 is to provide individualised training in communicative and methodological skills across all four language skills (listening comprehension, reading, speaking and writing), to encourage independent, self-directed learning, and to develop collaborative working methods in small groups.
Skills are consolidated and gaps are filled.
