Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy

  • A school year consists of 35 teaching units, and this number of teaching units forms the basis for calculating our fees, which are spread evenly throughout the year. Consequently, fees are charged throughout the year, including during the holidays.
  • At the KIDS CLUB, each lesson lasts 60 minutes and takes place once a week.
  • The groups consisted of a maximum of 10 children.
  • It is possible to join at any time during the current school year.
  • Any lessons cancelled for reasons attributable to the school management will, of course, be made up.
  • Regular attendance is essential for the continuous improvement of your child’s English skills.
  • There are no lessons on public holidays or during school holidays in North Rhine-Westphalia.
  • The school management will inform you of the start and end dates of the relevant school year.
  • There are no additional costs for teaching materials or workbooks.
  • There is no entitlement to a make-up lesson or a refund of the pro rata tuition fee for lessons that are cancelled by the member or their parent or guardian, or which are not attended.
  • The school management is liable for accidents under its public liability insurance. Any further liability is excluded.
  • The relevant school rules for the building apply during school hours.
  • For insurance reasons, pre-school and primary school children must be dropped off and collected in person at the entrance on time for their lessons.
  • Outside school hours, the school management or its staff cannot provide supervision.
  • The school rules apply to all members. By attending lessons, the member or their parent or guardian agrees to abide by the school rules.
  • To ensure that lessons get off to a smooth start, it is important that the children are dropped off and collected on time!
  • If your child is unable to attend lessons due to illness or for any other reason, please notify us by telephone without delay.
  • If a group consists of fewer than four children, the school management reserves the right to combine groups of children of a similar age and ability.
  • The place of jurisdiction for both parties is Bonn.
  • Declaration of Consent (Data Protection) I consent to the
    my personal data is processed solely for the purpose of fulfilling the contract and for sending information and offers by email for the purposes of self-promotion and quality assurance, and not be passed on to third parties. I have the right to access, rectify or erase my data at any time.
  • The ongoing school fees can be paid either in equal quarterly instalments or monthly (12 times a year and by direct debit only). The monthly course fees are calculated on a 12-month basis, meaning that fees are charged continuously, including during the holidays.
  • The rolling tuition fee may be paid either in four equal quarterly instalments or in 12 monthly instalments (12 per year by direct debit only). The tuition fee is an annual fee divided into 12 monthly instalments, calculated on the basis of regular monthly payments throughout the holidays.

  • The ongoing tuition fee may be paid either in 4 equal quarterly instalments or in 12 monthly instalments (12 per year by direct debit only). The monthly fees are calculated on the basis of regular monthly payments throughout the holidays.

Notice periods

  • To ensure continuity of lessons, membership and notice periods are based on the first lesson. To ensure continuity of lessons, membership may be cancelled no earlier than 4 weeks before the end of the first membership year, which begins on the first day of lessons. From then on, a standard notice period of 6 weeks applies, effective at the end of the relevant membership quarter. Following timely notice of termination, the customer will receive confirmation of termination.
  • To ensure continuous learning progress, the contract may only be terminated by giving written notice no earlier than 4 weeks before the end of your child’s first year of membership. Thereafter, the contract may be terminated every 3 months by giving written notice 6 weeks prior to the end of the individual membership term – depending on the date of enrolment. Following the timely written notice, you will receive confirmation of the notice.
  • As it is possible to join at any time, the relevant term begins for each child when they start lessons. Children/students can start lessons at any time throughout the year. Their first day of enrolment therefore varies depending on when they join.
  • All notices of termination must be given Written form / Notice must be given in writing!
  • Verbal notices of termination will not be accepted./ Oral termination of contract will not be accepted.
  • The notice periods must be strictly observed! / Terms of notice must be complied with!
  • In the event of a breach of the school rules, the school management reserves the right to terminate membership at the end of the term.
