Our nursery children

The Caterpillars – our 3- and 4-year-olds

In our Caterpillar programme, 3- and 4-year-olds are prepared for our pre-school programme in a playful way, developing their social, emotional, cognitive and motor skills. We offer a wide range of activities designed to support the development of our little Caterpillars.

Our main aim in working with our little ones, the Caterpillars, is to foster social and emotional intelligence, gross and fine motor skills, dexterity, stamina and the ability to concentrate, as well as to develop language and communication skills. In particular, we aim to encourage independent action and self-directed, collaborative and exploratory learning.

Our nursery community

For these skills to develop, the child needs to feel accepted and secure within the group and to build a relationship of trust with the carers and the other children in the group.

Joint
Learning

For a child’s healthy development, it is important to become part of the pre-school community and to learn how to learn together as a group.

Montessori Education

„Helping children to help themselves“ Our child-centred and exploratory approach to education offers every single child the opportunity to develop their natural curiosity and discover their own abilities through varied and stimulating projects.

We have a very large garden where the children can run about, climb, slide, swing and play. However, we also regularly go on discovery trips outside the nursery.

And that’s how caterpillars turn into butterflies – our grown-ups.
